Donna M. Moore, 80, lifelong resident of Moose River Road, Port Leyden, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15th at St. Elizabeth's Hospital in Utica, New York.
Donna was born on June 27, 1941 to James Leonard Brown and Edith Compo at Buck Lake Corners in Boonville, New York.
She attended Port Leyden School where she graduated with the class of 1959.
On June 4, 1960, she was united in marriage with James L. Moore—a union that lasted for nearly 62 years.
Donna had various jobs throughout the years—the one she enjoyed the most was her position at The Forge Motel in Old Forge, New York.
Donna enjoyed ball games, bingo, baking, and a good shopping trip.
She was predeceased by her parents, and her brother; David L. Brown.
Donna is survived by her husband James; her two sons, Randy (Kelly) Moore of Boonville and Robin (Nichole) Moore of West Leyden; her four grandchildren, Mitchell Moore, Chelsey (Tyler) Mowers, Kate Moore, and Kaeleigh Moore; her brother, Theodore (Andrea) McCall; her sister-in-law, Leona Brown, and many nieces and nephews.
In keeping with Donna's wishes, there will be no service or calling hours.
