Jane L. Myers

Boonville- Jane L. Myers, 92, passed away at Sunset Nursing and Rehabilitation Center on May 1, 2021 surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 14, 1928 in West Turin a daughter of Charles and Doris Sabin Lee. She attended rural schools and Port Leyden High School. She married Albert Myers on May 23, 1947 at the Boonville United Methodist Church with Reverend Holmes officiating. The couple purchased the Capron farm on Route 12-D in 1960 and operated it until retiring in 1988. They sold the farm to their son Chuck and then moved to Grove Street in Boonville. Albert passed away January 24, 2005. Jane enjoyed bowling, polka bands, and was an avid Yankee baseball fan.

Surviving are two sons, Larry Myers and Chuck and Donna Myers; one daughter, (Bev.) Midge and (Eli) Joseph Schindler, all of Boonville; 8 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren. Jane was predeceased by an infant daughter at birth, a grandson, Bobby Myers in December 1987, three brothers, Merwin, William, and Raymond Lee, and a sister, Marjorie Glouse. Special thanks to Sunset Nursing Home and staff for all the care shown to Jane and her family over the past years.

A graveside service for immediate family will be held on May 4, 2021 at 11 a.m. at Turin Cemetery.  Calling hours will be Monday, May 3, 2021 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at Mills Funeral Home, 301 Post Street, Boonville.
