While attending South Lewis High School, Michael excelled at playing football and baseball for the South Lewis Falcons.  Later he greatly enjoyed coaching little league and farm baseball teams, for his children, in Turin.  He was an avid NY Yankee Baseball fan and a fan of the Buffalo Bills Football team.  In later years Michael’s favorite sport was golf; he treasured golf games at the Brantingham Golf Club, where he often enjoyed a game with his children, grandchildren and family.

In addition to his wife, Denise, Michael is survived by his son Cody R. Foley and his companion, Rachel Williamson, Turin; his daughter, Nicole “Niki” Kirk, Savannah, GA; his grandchildren, Brayden Myers and Dexter Sprowell; two brothers, Patrick Foley, Binghamton, Shawn Foley and companion, Erin Moxley, Lyons Falls.  He was predeceased by his mother and father, Phillip and Joyce Foley and many aunts and uncles.
