Westernville- Scott E. Williams, 59, of Stokes-Westernville Road, husband of Sally J., passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022, at Rome Health.


Scott was born in Rome, on September 20, 1962, a son of Arthur R. and Eva Gillette Williams.  He grew up on the Soule Road, Steuben, receiving his education at Holland Patent Central School, where he graduated from high school, with the Class of 1980.  Thereafter, Scott furthered his education attending The Utica School of Commerce.  


For several years Mr. Williams was employed as a construction worker and assembler of service station canopies for Mohawk Metal Products Co. of Utica. 


On January 21, 1996, Scott was united in marriage with Sally Kirk, in Westernville.   


In addition to his wife, Sally, Scott is survived by two sons, Corey Kirk and partner Mackenzie Longamore, Camden, Aaron Williams, at home; one daughter, BreYanna Williams and partner, Joseph Yager at home; two granddaughters, one grandson; brothers, Robin Williams, Westernville, Arthur Williams, Lloyd Williams, both of NC and one sister, Dorothy Williams, Rome and many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.  


His Funeral will be Thursday at 1:00 P.M. at Trainor Funeral Home, Inc. 143 Schuyler St. Boonville, where calling hours are from 11:00 A.M. until the funeral.  Interment will be in Carmichael Hill Cemetery, Town of Western.  Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
