- WATERTOWN-The Children’s Home of Jefferson County (CHJC) is proud to announce its 20th Annual Charity Golf Tournament, taking place Monday, August 10, 2026, at the scenic Highland Meadows Golf Club in Watertown. For the past 20 years, this beloved community event has proudly benefited the SoZo Teen Center, making a lasting impact on local youth and families. Golfers, community members, and local businesses are invited to enjoy a memorable day of friendly competition, exceptional hospitality, and meaningful giving. The tournament will kick off with a 9:00 am shotgun start and feature a full day of player amenities and on-course excitement. Participants will enjoy breakfast, snacks and lunch on the course, exciting contests and prizes, and a post-tournament reception featuring gourmet hors d’oeuvres prepared by CHJC’s own Chef Chris Manning. Proceeds from this annual tournament have always supported the SoZo Teen Center. In this free drop-in space, teens find connection, stability, and support during critical after-school and evening hours. Each year, SoZo serves hundreds of local youth by offering a safe place to belong, trusted adult mentorship, access to resources, and opportunities that help teens build confidence, resilience, and healthy relationships. For many young people, SoZo is more than a program—it’s a lifeline. To thank early supporters, CHJC is offering an Early Bird Special for teams and sponsors who register and pay by March 31, 2026. Businesses and organizations are encouraged to get involved as sponsors, gaining valuable visibility while investing in the well-being of local youth. Individual teams are also welcome to join in this meaningful community tradition. Teams and sponsors can register online at CHJC’s exclusive tournament website: www.ChjcGolfTournament.com. or to learn more about sponsorship opportunities, please contact Kristy Auman, Marketing and Events Coordinator, at (315) 777-9600 or
