ALERT: Sheriff’s Office asking for help in search of missing Lewis County man

LEWIS COUNTY- We have received unfortunate updates regarding Cody Johnson, 39, of Lowville, NY.

According to the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, Johnson, who was reported missing over the weekend, had been found, deceased.

Amidst this tragic development, authorities add that Johnson’s dog was found alive.

Officials say Johnson’s body was recovered in the town of Watson, which is the same region where he was last seen over the weekend.

Local authorities would like to thank everyone who assisted in the search effort.
