Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo is suing the State Attorney General over interviews that were used in the sexual misconduct investigations which ultimately led to his resignation over two-years-ago.

This development is according to the latest from the Associated Press.

The case was filed against Letitia James last Thursday in New York State Court, where Cuomo argued that he needs full witness statements to help defend himself in two sexual harassment lawsuits linked to the investigation.

Last year, a federal judge said no regarding a similar scenario case filed by Cuomo.

Despite an official report from the Attorney General’s office, which suggested Cuomo sexually harassed at-least 11 different women, the former Governor has continued denying these allegations.

He also has continued denouncing the sexual misconduct investigation, claiming it’s “unfair.”

After governing through the COVID pandemic, Cuomo resigned amidst the numerous allegations against him during the summer of 2021.
