As long as Mother Nature doesn't interrupt, Boonville Snow Fest is aimed for weekend of January 26-28, officials confirm
BOONVILLE- As long as Mother Nature doesn't interfere, the Boonville Snow Festival II is aimed to return to the Boonville-Oneida County Fairgrounds, featuring fast action snowmobile sled racing, for the weekend of January 26-28, 2024.
"They (the track crew) have started laying water down to build the ice," said festival spokesperson Susan Alger.
She joined our North Country News on Wednesday, January 10. "While speaking with the track crew, they actually told me it's the same as last-year's weather, but this year we are starting to lay water sooner than we did last-year," Alger emphasized.

We will share another update regarding a detailed schedule of events soon. In the meantime, the Boonville Snow Fest has opened up sponsorship packages to local businesses and individuals.
"With sponsorships starting at $50, there's an opportunity for everyone to help us keep this amazing event going strong," the Snow Fest Committee said in a released statement.

Fireworks sponsorship opportunities are also available for $100 and up. Write Fireworks on the memo line of your check and the snow fest committee will announce your sponsorship on Facebook and leading up to the snow fest.
