Assemblyman Smullen pushes for local agriculture during ‘Farm to Table’ tour

New York Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R, C, I SAM-Meco) is supporting the push to utilize local agriculture.

Over the weekend, the Assemblyman made a few stops along the ‘Farm to Table’ tour, an event generated to create a connection between farmers and consumers, while also raising awareness to the benefits of purchasing local agriculture produce.

"Connecting local farms with local consumers is a fantastic way to create more revenue for the area and support New York's number one industry," Smullen said. "I take pride in the hard work our local farmers put into their products.”
