ALBANY, NY- The battle over congressional district lines in New York drags on amidst the latest reverse decision made by the State Supreme Court.

On Thursday, the Appellate Division of New York’s Supreme Court reversed a lower court’s decision by ordering a new redistricting commission to start working on new proposed congressional lines.

This development is according to the Associated Press.

With Democrats cheering for the lawsuit, Republicans have responded instantly with vows to take this case to the highest courts in New York.

The lawsuit has aims to scrap lines drawn last-year, to which Republicans managed to turn four congressional seats over.
