Beaver River Central School says investigation on potential threat turned out not credible

LEWIS COUNTY- Beaver River Central School says a potential threat investigated recently turned out not to be credible.

After speaking with school officials on Thursday, District Superintendent Todd Green suggested that the district investigated some comments that were overheard by students.

These students contacted proper staff members and all protocols were followed.

In short, the investigation determined that there was no real threat, but Superintendent Green iterates that the students, who reported to proper authorities, did the right thing.
