BOONVILLE PD: Juvenile suspected of stealing town truck earlier in the year arrested for allegedly stealing snow-blower

BOONVILLE- A juvenile suspect is accused of stealing a snow blower from a village resident.

Boonville Police said they investigated a complaint on Sunday. It is reported a woman resident stated that her snow-blower had been stolen.

Specifically, the snow-blower had been set out by the street, with a for sale sign on it. Upon noticing that it was missing, the victim called police to file a complaint.

Investigation resulted in the arrest of a 17-year-old suspect, from Boonville, NY. The teen was arrested for larceny.

This is not the first round of trouble for the alleged suspect. In fact, this same juvenile is suspected of stealing three vehicles earlier this year, including a town of Boonville Highway Department Truck.

Fortunately, the snow-blower was returned to its rightful owner.

The juvenile was turned over back to their rightful guardian before receiving an appearance ticket, returnable to Oneida County Family Court at a later date.
