Boonville PD: Local person suspected of damaging property at Hulbert House apartments

BOONVILLE- Authorities say a local person is accused of damaging property at a village apartment property.

The Boonville Village Police says that Terry L. Pfendler, 27, of Boonville, NY has been arrested and charged with one felony count of criminal mischief in the fifth-degree.

Village police officials say they received a disturbance report on August 30 at the Hulbert House. Per their investigation, police determined that Pfendler was the guest of a tenant that night and happened to be alone in the apartment during the early hours.

While there, it is alleged that Pfendler destroyed personal property of the tenant, as well as property that belonged to the owner of the Hulbert House, where damage exceeded $250 worth.

Pfendler was issued with an appearance ticket and will answer the charge in Boonville Town Court at a later date.
