Boonville Police arrest suspected thief following complaint from Erwin Library

BOONVILLE- The Village Police Department has announced the arrest of a suspected thief after investigating a complaint last month.

Kyara M. Copes, 28 of Boonville, NY is formally charged with one count of petit larceny, according to a news release Thursday morning. 

Boonville Police says this arrest stems from a complaint at Erwin Library on March 30. A library employee told police that several of their DVD's were missing from inventory.

Investigation resulted in the arrest of Copes. 

Copes was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Boonville Town Court at a later date.
