Boonville Police issue tickets to trio of juveniles amidst numerous vandalism reports in Erwin Park

BOONVILLE- Local authorities in the village are investigating numerous vandalism incidents that have occurred over the last several weeks in Erwin Park.

For now, police have managed to ticket a trio of three female juveniles for criminal mischief in the fourth-degree.

On July 10, Boonville Police Department discovered that these three teenage suspects, who were not identified due to age and/or youthful offender status, entered the men’s bathroom and plugged one of the toilets, with intents to flood the facility.

Furthermore, the trio also reportedly damaged the toilet paper dispenser and trash cans.

According to Officer in Charge Fred Robenski, the parents for each of these suspects have been notified and are cooperating with the investigation.

All three were issued with appearance tickets and will appear in Oneida County Juvenile Probation.

In addition, the teens are banned from entering Erwin Park from now on.

In terms of other similar incidents within the park, Boonville Police claims to have identified additional suspects and will be charging them accordingly.
