Carthage Man Accused of Felony D.W.I. in Jefferson County

TOWN OF CHAMPION-A 25 year old Carthage man is facing Felony D.W.I. charges following a Saturday evening vehicle stop in the Town of Champion. New York State Police from the Carthage Barracks charged Jonas D. Zehr with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with .08 of 1% of more Alcohol in Blood-with 2 Prior Convictions of Designated Offense within 10 years and Driving While Intoxicated with 2 prior offenses of Designated Offense within 10 years: both Class D Felonies. Zehr was issued an appearance ticket returnable to the Town of Champion Court at a later date.
