Connecticut Man Facing D.W.I. Charges in Lowville

VILLAGE OF LOWVILLE-A 64 year old Connecticut man is accused of D.W.I. following a Saturday afternoon vehicle stop in the Village of Lowville. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks arrested Richard H. Zwart of New Milford Connecticut and charged him with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Content of .08 of 1%-First Offense and Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense: both Class U misdemeanors. Zwart was issued appearance tickets returnable to Lowville Justice Court.  Police said the incident is pending investigation.
