Croghan resident charged with aggravated unlicensed operation, Troopers say

CHAMPION- A local resident is accused of unlicensed operation in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Dustin P. Brown, 38, of Croghan, NY was arrested last Sunday by the New York State Police (Carthage). Brown is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest was made shortly after 11:00 p.m. on the night of December 8 in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said that Brown was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details released.
