DEC Announces temporary closure of Hinckley Reservoir Day Use Area

HERKIMER COUNTY- The New York State Department of Environmental Conservation (DEC) has announced the temporary closure of Hinckley Reservoir Day Use Area in Cold Brook, Herkimer County.

Due to storm damage in the area occurring on the evening of July 16, the roadways leading to the facility are badly damaged and impassable.

The facility will be closed to all patrons, until further notice, while crews work to repair damaged roadways.
