BOONVILLE- "One of the best years in a long time!" That's what Boonville Snow Festival II spokesperson, Susan Alger, told us while touting an incredibly successful snowmobile racing event for 2025.
Listen to our latest on-air coverage from Tuesday, January 28, 2025:
The ice oval track was "the best" it has ever been, according to several racers who competed over the weekend, and that is thanks to the several hours dedicated by volunteers, who work tirelessly into the night during the weeks leading up to snow fest.
Large crowds attended the highly anticipated racing event, including those who drove their vehicles and those who parked their snowmobile sleds as they passed by on the neighboring Lost Trail Snowmobile Club trail.
Of course, the Boonville Snow Festival II features its Adirondack Cup Series Racing and here are the top-three results for each division:
Adirondack Cup (F-500):
Spencer Landry, from Brookline, New Hampshire.
Anthony Pettinelli, from Rome, NY.
Scott Copeland, from Stratford, New Hampshire.
Adirondack Cup (Vintage):
Lucas Nast, from Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Jamie Bourgeois, from Boonville, NY.
Spencer Landry, from Brookline, New Hampshire.
Adirondack Cup (Pro):
Jamie Bourgeois, from Boonville, NY.
Marc Donahue, from Marcy, NY
Lucas Nast, from Lancaster, New Hampshire.
Though 2025 is being touted as one of the best years yet for Boonville Snow Festival, there was a snow squall that bounced around the Northern portion of Oneida County on Sunday and was ultimately the reason why racing was called for the safety of the drivers.
In short, officials from the Boonville Snow Fest II Committee look forward to seeing everyone again in 2026.
