Domestic dispute in Herkimer County results in charges against local resident: NYSP

RUSSIA- A domestic dispute over the weekend in Herkimer County has resulted in charges filed against a local resident.

According to the New York State Police (Herkimer), Nathan Charles Jones, 24, of Cold Brook, NY was arrested on one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property), menacing in the second-degree and criminal possession of a weapon in the fourth-degree (w/intent to use).

Troopers say these charges stem from a reported domestic incident late Sunday night in the town of Russia.

At press time, Jones’ arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

Meanwhile, police indicated that an investigation was still pending.

There were no further details provided.
