Domestic incident in Lyonsdale results in charges filed against Lewis County resident

LYONSDALE- A domestic incident earlier this week in Southern Lewis County has led to charges filed against a local resident.

Merry Kizzy Bielewicz, 40, of Lyons Falls, NY was arrested and charged Monday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville) with one misdemeanor count each of criminal obstruction of breathing, criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property) and forcible touching (sexual/intimate parts of another person).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a reported domestic incident earlier that morning in the town of Lyonsdale.

At press time, police said an investigation was pending, while Bielewicz’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
