Domestic incident in New Bremen results in pair of charges filed against Lewis County resident

NEW BREMEN- Authorities say a domestic incident this week has resulted in a pair of charges filed against a North Country area suspect.

Timothy C. Widrick, 46, of Castorland, NY was arrested and charged on Tuesday by the New York State Police (Lowville) on one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief (reckless property damage exceeding $250) and criminal contempt in the second-degree (disobeying court order).

According to Troopers, these charges stem from a Tuesday morning domestic incident in the town of New Bremen.

At press time, authorities said that an investigation was pending.

Meanwhile, Widrick’s arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.

There were no further details provided.
