Driver who allegedly refused to pull-over for traffic stop in Lewis County charged with fleeing police

WEST TURIN- A Lewis County resident is accused of fleeing police in a motor vehicle.

On Wednesday, Sheriff’s Deputies tried stopping a 1968 Camaro on State Route 12 in the town of West Turin, but it’s reported the driver refused to pull over.

By the next day, police investigation helped identify the suspect as Heath Farr Sr., 45, of Lyons Falls, NY. He is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of fleeing an officer in a motor vehicle, along with several other unspecified vehicle and traffic related tickets.

At press time, police said that Farr was issued with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to West Turin Town Court at a later date.
