LOWVILLE- The office of Naturally Lewis and Lewis County Development Corporation have teamed up to get in touch with interested developers, who are looking to transform the former Lyons Falls School.
As previously reported this spring, County Manager Ryan Piche said the ultimate goal is to find a developer to help market the building and make it productive for the community.
Currently, the county owns the property and is working on completing abatement and cleanout efforts.
According to Naturally Lewis officials, the deadline to submit any questions is August 30, while expressions of interest are due no later than September 25.
The site includes a two-story building that was constructed in 1927; the property has a u-shaped drive, parking area, lawns, and approximately three acres of wooded area.
It is served by municipal water/sewer, natural gas, and high-speed broadband.
The school served as an education site for several local students through 1983.
