Fire Departments dispatched to pair of calls Sunday

ONEIDA COUNTY- Various local fire departments in Oneida County were dispatched to a pair of calls within the same time frame Sunday evening.

First, Barneveld, Deerfield, Newport and Remsen Fire Departments responded to a reported stove fire on Mapleleaf Lane, Deerfield, NY.

There were no details immediately available from emergency officials.

Meanwhile, Remsen was called back out during that same time frame around 6:00 p.m. to reports of a brush fire at 154 Pardee Road, Remsen, NY.

Boonville and Forestport Fire Departments were both called out to assist with that matter.

Again, details were extremely limited yet as of this report.

We will follow up with anything new that is released.
