Walking in Faith for Two Hundred Years

Join us for the celebration of the First Presbyterian Church, Lowville, for our 200th Anniversary located at 7707 North State Street, Lowville, New York.

An Open House will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2022, from 10:00 AM until 4:00 PM. Take a stroll through the beautiful sanctuary and fellowship hall. Discover the church’s historical artifacts: photos, books and more. Explore the variety of artwork from yesterday and today. Be entertained watching a video of the history thru the years. Enjoy the creative work of the members of the congregation known as “Fruit of the Spirit.” Refreshments will be provided.

A special 200th Anniversary Service will be held on Sunday, July 17 @ 10 AM. Mr. Greg Jenkins, FPC’s new Lay Pastor, will introduce himself to the community while the church members will participate in the presentation of the service. Ms. Sylvia Virkler, past organist will play the welcoming music and accompany soloists. Steven Vance will deliver the special anniversary message. We are pleased to welcome Kristine “Kiki” Mallette Neale, as the organist and musical director for ecumenical choir that will gather for this special occasion.
