Forestport area resident charged with unlicensed operation and circumventing an interlock device, Troopers say

REMSEN- A local resident is accused of unlicensed operation and circumventing an interlock device in Oneida County.

During the late evening hours on Thursday, the New York State Police (Remsen) arrested and charged Charles J. Strain, 65, of Forestport, NY with one count each of aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree and circumventing an interlock device (operating without such device under subject of court order).

According to Troopers, these charges were filed late Thursday night in the town of Remsen.

At press time, police said that Strain was issued with an appearance ticket.
