Forestport resident arrested amid vehicle larceny investigation: NYSP

FORESTPORT- A vehicle larceny case in the Northern part of Oneida County has resulted in the arrest of a local suspect.

On Sunday afternoon, the New York State Police (Remsen) announced the arrest of Aaron J. Humble, 27, of Forestport, NY for one misdemeanor count each of auto stripping in the third-degree and unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.

Troopers said these charges both stem from a town of Forestport larceny complaint filed back on September 12.

At press time, authorities said an investigation was pending. Humble was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
