Griffo Miller Oath of Office 2023

ONEIDA COUNTY- New York State Senator Joe Griffo (R-C-ROME); New York State Assemblyman Brian Miller (R-C-New Hartford) and Oneida County Sheriff Rob Maciol are all among the latest elected officials to take their oaths of office.

On Friday, Griffo and Miller were sworn in while in the presence of Camden Elementary School students at Fort Stanwix National Monument in Rome, NY. "Many in our state are struggling due to rising costs and the flawed policies that the legislative majorities and governor have supported or put in place,” Griffo said.

“I will continue to work to stop the exodus from our state, grow and strengthen our communities, make the state more affordable, enhance public safety and improve the lives of New Yorkers."

“I will continue to work to help shape the vision forward for our conference and the millions of New Yorkers we represent,” Miller said. “Through strengthening public safety, reviving a thriving and affordable New York economy and building strong and vibrant communities, we can better the lives of New Yorkers."

Also on the same day, Sheriff Rob Maciol, a Democrat, took his oath and was sworn in while in the presence of his family. He was first elected back in 2010.
