Harrisville Man Accused of Aggravated D.W.I. and other charges
LOWVILLE-A 56 year old Harrisville man is facing numerous charges following a vehicle and traffic complaint stop. New York State Police from the Lowville Barracks arrested Michael Alan Benware on Monday afternoon and charged him with one count each of Operating a Motor Vehicle with a Blood Alcohol Count of .08 of 1% or greater-First offense; Driving While Intoxicated-First Offense; Aggravated D.W.I. Per Se with a Blood Alcohol Count of .18 of 1% or greater with no prior and Aggravated Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle in the 3rd Degree: all Class U misdemeanors. Benware’s arrest status was not listed, and the case was “pending investigation” as of the Tuesday morning press time.
