
OHIO- Ice, snow and bitter cold temperatures were all a hassle while firefighters tried securing a reliable water source in Friday night’s house blaze in Herkimer County.
It happened sometime around 5:00 p.m. on State Route 8, town of Ohio.
Emergency responders confirm that this was a fully involved structure fire, though there are no details confirming if there were any human injuries.
Several fire departments were called to the scene, including Newport, Barneveld, Deerfield, Forestport, Middleville, Morehouse, Remsen and Salisbury.
Kuyahoora Ambulance also responded.
When all was said and done, it took firefighters about an hour and a half to get the flames under control.
