Injuries reported in Southern Lewis County ATV accident Saturday night

LEYDEN- Emergency officials say there was an ATV roll-over accident over the weekend in Southern Lewis County.

It happened Saturday evening shortly before 9:00 p.m. on State Route 12-D, near the Domser Road in the town of Leyden.

Boonville Fire Department was the primary responder. According to Chief Dave Pritchard Jr., a side-by-side rolled-over “quite a few times,” resulting in confirmed injuries.

With that said, the extent of injuries was unknown as of press time. The Fire Chief did not mention or iterate a cause of the accident.

There were two occupants involved, with one of them being transported to Wynn Hospital via Boonville Ambulance.
