Interview: Kay Young talks Black River Valley Concert Series for winter, 2023

LOWVILLE- There will be five Saturday evenings this coming winter where North Country folks will have the opportunity to enjoy some local music.

Everything from country to golden oldies, bluegrass to folk music, there is something for everyone at the 2023 edition of the Black River Valley Concert Series.

All five performances will help support the Lewis County Historical Society (7552 South State Street). The lineup this year is as follows:

  • January 28 - Mad Agnes
  • February 11 - Ruby Shooz
  • February 25 - Dissipated Eight
  • March 11 - The Nelson Brothers
  • March 25 - Beartracks

All concerts begin at 7:30 p.m. and will be held at the Historical Society. Refreshments, including wine and desserts, will be served. 

Advance sale tickets are up for grabs for $18 and can be obtained at the Historical Society, Café Z (Lowville) and Dr. Guitar (Watertown).

Tickets at the door are $20 per-person, $12 for students and $45 for a family (two adults and up to four children). 

There is also a season pass available for $100 and that includes two guests at the door.
