Investigators looking into a serious ATV accident Friday night in Northern Oneida County

BOONVILLE- Emergency authorities are investigating what has been reported as a "serious" ATV wreck in Northern Oneida County.

It happened Friday evening at around 8:30 p.m. on the Domser Road, off from the Potato Hill Road, according to dispatchers. 

Details remain limited as of this report, but we've been told by Boonville Fire Department that this is a New York State Police investigation.

Firefighters told us the driver smashed into a tree. Injuries were not specified initially, the nature of the accident was described as serious.
