Larceny complaint in Trenton results in charges against Remsen suspect, Troopers say

TRENTON- A local resident from Oneida County is faced with charges stemming from a larceny complaint over the winter.

On Wednesday morning, the New York State Police announced the arrest of Trevor L. Burns, 24, of Remsen, NY for one misdemeanor count each of criminally possessing stolen property in the fifth-degree; unauthorized use of a motor vehicle (w/out owner’s consent) and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, this arrest stems from a larceny complaint filed on February 18 in the town of Trenton.

At press time, police said that an investigation was pending. Meanwhile, Burns’ arrest status suggested an appearance for centralized arraignment.
