LOWVILLE-A Lewis County Grand Jury has convicted a North Country area man on multiple counts of predatory sexual assault against a child.

On Saturday, the office of Lewis County District Attorney Jeffery G. Tompkins said that Dylan C. Hoch Sr., 26 of Glenfield, NY has been convicted on all charges against him, including four counts of predatory sexual assault against a child.

β€œThe jury heard our victim, and their verdict makes that clear. While the harm caused by Defendant Hoch can never be undone, I hope this outcome provides her with some measure of closure," a statement from Jeffery G. Tompkins' office reads.

"I want to thank A.D.A. Tenaha Sparacino, A.D.A. Joseph Hobika, III, and our support staff for their dedication to this case, as well as Investigator Ryan Waite of the New York State Police for his thorough investigative work.”

In April, a mistrial was declared after the prosecution made an error in their proceedings.

With the new trial lasting five-days, officials say the jury deliberated several hours before returning their verdict late Friday evening.

Sentencing is scheduled for late November, where Hoch faces a potential term of up to 100-years behind state bars.
