Lewis County Grand Jury hands up multi-count indictment for local resident accused of rape

LOWVILLE- A Lewis County Grand Jury has returned a multi-count indictment against a local resident on over a dozen counts of rape.

Nicole L. Lyndaker, 43, of Croghan, NY is scheduled to be arraigned in Lewis County Court this Friday, November 1, 2024.

The indictment against Lyndaker holds 18 counts of rape in the third-degree, which is classified as a sex offense (where the defendant is 21 or older and the complainant is less than 17).

The case was handled by the Lewis County Sheriff’s Office, with assistance from members of the Criminal Investigations Division of the U.S. Army.
