LOWVILLE- Authorities in Lewis County are on the hunt for potential developers that would take interest in a former school.

Naturally Lewis (aka the IDA) and officials are seeking respondents who have a vision for the Glenfield School that would support economic growth here local and throughout the region.

"Board and staff members welcome creative redevelopment ideas and concepts that take advantage of the assets Lewis County offers. We are prioritizing housing and/or lodging concepts but will consider other options as long as it shows significant community benefit" said Executive Director, Brittany Davis.

The county owns the school property for the time being, but only through May, 2023. The site has over 40,000 square feet.

Brief expressions of interest are now being accepted through January 31, 2023.
