Lewis County resident faced with impaired, unlicensed operation charges in Greig

GREIG- Impaired and unlicensed driving charges have been filed this week against a Lewis County area resident.

On Tuesday afternoon, the New York State Police (Lowville) arrested and charged Melissa M. Blanchard, 45, of Glenfield, NY with one count each of operating a motor vehicle while impaired by drugs and aggravated unlicensed operation in the third-degree.

According to Troopers, these charges were filed Tuesday afternoon in the town of Greig.

At press time, police said that Blanchard was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
