Lewis County woman charged with seven felonies for allegedly violating the Sex Offender Registry

WATSON- A local woman is accused of violating the sex offender registry in Lewis County, authorities say.

Angela S. Hirschey, 41, of Lowville, NY was arrested by the Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday from an investigation back on Halloween.

It’s reported that New York State Parole was out conducting sex offender checks that day and while searching Hirschey’s property in the town of Watson as part of her parole conditions, it’s reported that investigators unveiled seven unregistered email addresses on an electronic tablet, which belongs to her.

Hirschey was formally charged with seven felony counts of violating the sex offender registry.

She was issued appearance tickets before remanded back to the Lewis County Jail, where Hirschey is being held on a parole warrant.
