Lewis County woman charged with several offenses after allegedly trying to contact protected party hundreds of times throughout this winter

WATSON- The Sheriff’s Office has announced the arrest of a Lewis County resident, who is faced with several charges after allegedly trying to contact a protected person hundreds of times this winter.

Cindy L. Miller, 41, of Glenfield, NY has formally been charged with felony counts of criminal contempt in the first-degree and aggravated family offense, along with misdemeanor aggravated harassment in the second-degree (threat via phone).

Sheriff’s Investigators are saying that Miller tried to contact a protected party over the phone 232 times from December 24 through January 9.

In addition, Miller is also accused of trying to contact a family member 30 – 50 times a day between January 4 and 9.

Following an arraignment in Lewis County CAP Court, Miller was jailed on $2,500 cash. Miller will appear in Watson Town Court at a later date.
