Local man accused of menacing and reckless endangerment in Lewis County, Troopers say

DENMARK- A local resident is faced with a pair of charges, stemming from menacing complaints this week in Lewis County, authorities say.

Nathan V. Jay, 38, of Castorland, NY was arrested late Wednesday by the New York State Police (Lowville). Jay is officially charged with one misdemeanor count each of menacing in the second-degree and reckless endangerment in the second-degree.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an incident, reportedly involving a gun/weapon, Wednesday night in the town of Denmark.

At press time, police said Jay was issued with an appearance ticket.
