FLOYD- A man from the local region is faced with a list of accusations after being arrested on a warrant for an alleged domestic incident earlier in the spring, authorities say.
Joseph Dunn (no age provided), of the town of Ohio, NY, was arrested by the Oneida County Sheriff’s office on Wednesday. Dunn is formally charged with one count each of criminal contempt in the second-degree; reckless endangerment in the second-degree; criminal mischief in the fourth-degree and harassment in the second-degree.
According to Deputies, Dunn was taken into custody Wednesday at his workplace on the Soule Road, town of Floyd.
A warrant for his arrest was issued after a reported domestic incident on May 8, where police attempted to make contact with Joseph but had no success.
During the incident in question, police allege that Dunn violated a Court Order of Protection while endangering the health and life of the protected party, who was on a motorcycle.
Police say that Joseph followed the protected party to her home, were he damaged her vehicle and the property where she resided.
Dunn was processed, booked and held for arraignment at Oneida County CAP Court, according to what police said as of this publication.
