Local man charged with rape for allegedly having sexual contact with underage child in Oneida County

ONEIDA COUNTY- A town of Lee man is accused of having sexual contact with an underage child in Oneida County.

Sheriff’s Investigators arrested and charged Robert Didomenico, 37, on Monday with one felony count of rape in the third-degree and one misdemeanor count of endangering the welfare of a child.

The investigation launched last-weekend when authorities were notified that Didomenico had allegedly subjected a female child to sexual contact.

A search warrant was subsequently executed in the town of Lee, where more evidence was obtained.

Didomenico was processed before arraignment in CAP Court.

At press time, authorities said that he was held on $30,000 cash.
