Local resident accused of intoxicated driving in Lowville, Troopers say

LOWVILLE- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving in Lewis County, authorities say.

Andrew James Godlewski, 35, of Lowville, NY was arrested Thursday night by the New York State Police (Lowville). Godlewski is formally charged with one count each of DWI (first offense) and operating a motor vehicle (w/a .08 of 1% BAC or greater).

According to Troopers, the arrest was made in the town of Lowville shortly after 9:00 p.m. Thursday.

At press time, police said that Godlewski was issued with an appearance ticket.
