MARTINSBURG- A local resident is accused of intoxicated driving, following reports of a traffic stop over the weekend in Lewis County.
It was shortly before 2:00 a.m. Sunday when Sheriff’s Deputies stopped a 2018 Ford Edge, which was heading north on State Route 12 in the town of Martinsburg.
Deputies allege that the driver, identified as Sharon A. Grosso, 64, of Greig, NY failed to use the proper designated lane.
During the interview process, police say that Grosso appeared intoxicated and subsequently failed field sobriety tests on scene.
Following transport to the Public Safety Building, Grosso was processed and registered a .15% BAC.
Grosso was charged with DWI and other unspecified traffic infractions.
At press time, police said that Grosso was released with an appearance ticket, which is returnable to Martinsburg Town Court at a later date.
