Local resident accused of petit larceny in Lowville, Troopers say

LOWVILLE- A local resident is faced with a larceny accusation in Lewis County, authorities say.

Charlene L. Montroy, 56, of Lowville, NY was arrested Tuesday afternoon by the New York State Police (Lowville). Montroy is formally charged with one misdemeanor count of petit larceny.

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from a larceny complaint in the town of Lowville. At press time, police said an investigation was pending.

Meanwhile, Montroy was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
