Local resident charged with criminal mischief in Jefferson County

CHAMPION- A local resident is faced with an accusation stemming from a reported dispute this week in Jefferson County, authorities say.

Christina M. Woodard, 45, of Carthage, NY was arrested Wednesday evening by the New York State Police (Carthage). Woodard is formally charged with one misdemeanor count each of criminal mischief (w/intent to damage property).

According to Troopers, the arrest stems from an alleged domestic dispute in the town of Champion.

At press time, police said that Woodard was issued with an appearance ticket.

There were no further details provided.
