Local resident charged with felony unlicensed operation in Lewis County, Troopers say

MARTINSBURG- A felony charge has been issued against a local resident, who is accused of unlicensed operation in Lewis County.

Carter M. Dafoe, 24, of Port Leyden, NY was arrested on Tuesday morning by the New York State Police (Lowville). Dafoe is officially charged with one felony count of aggravated unlicensed operation in the first-degree.

Troopers say the arrest was made in the town of Martinsburg sometime shortly before 11:30 A.M. Tuesday.

Dafoe was issued with an appearance ticket and State Police issued no further details to report.
